Why Athletes Aren’t Truly Ready.

Returning to your sport shouldn’t be guesswork. And yet, too many athletes are sent back to their sport before they’re ready. 

This is because they are seen in clinics that focus on ‘normalizing function’, rather than excelling in sport. ‘Normalizing function’ entails getting up from a chair, walking to or from school, or carrying out household chores. 
Not exactly adequate for sports that require sprinting and changing direction, especially in unpredictable environments with uncooperative opponents.
